Chasing down hopes and dreams is most often a long term safari. It’s fairly common for them to take years, and sometimes decades to achieve.
The most meaningful hopes and dreams can be elusive little buggers, but something about them not being so easy to reach makes them that much more compelling….
To a point…..
Sometimes, when a hope and dream has been pursued so long without success, the temptation to flush it down the toilet gets stronger, and stronger.
I shared a story about my recent pursuit of one such hope and dream on the podcast today. Click or tap anywhere on the Big Sugar picture below to listen 👇🏻⬇️:
Is there a hope or dream you’ve been tracking down for so long that you’ve placed it on the toilet seat, with your hand on the flusher?
If so, I hear ya. It comes with a lot of feels. Perhaps there is something worth exploring in a song.
What has kept you going towards it for years?
Why is it important to you?
Is it possible to keep an open mind to it coming true, even if time and time again, it seems like it won’t?
I hope today’s episode gives you a little extra optimism and encouragement to stick with it. I found it in the bathroom of a local venue called Revelry.
Sometimes, all we need is a sign……..
Perhaps there’s a song you love somewhere in there ❤️.
🔥 P.S. There is a new session of Put Pants on Your Songs starting April 30th. Click the Flush sign above for more info.
Congratulations on fulfilling your dream, its a shame your wife missed out on her concert. Maybe that artist will be her ‘Big Sugar’?
